In the United States, there are almost 400,000 children living without permanent families in the foster care system. More than 100,000 of these children (currently in foster care) are eligible for adoption, but only 1 out of 3 will find a new family within the next 3 years.

We here at The Pegram Agency have seen first hand how devasting it can be when parents pass away due to serious illnesses or unforeseen circumstances, leaving their kids behind. When that happens, many families don’t have any relatives who can take care of their small ones and they end up in the foster care system. Throughout the years we’ve served our community, we’ve seen this happen to many families time and time again. We want to change things and take action! That’s why we personally invite you to join our campaign efforts supporting the wholehearted efforts of Central Children’s Home of North Carolina.

Their mission … “is to provide family-centered services via an appropriate period of residential group care for children and youth from age 9-21, who cannot remain at home due to dependency, neglect or abuse. This organization works diligently by providing a wholesome atmosphere that is conducive to children’s and teens’ emotional, educational, social, spiritual and physical, and development which promotes positive family functioning and/or independent living.”
